tattoos for all

Women who want to feel special or to think that they are one of a kind want to have this flower tattoo on their body. Before, it was only found in Japan. But these days, you will see them in other parts of the world like Washington D.C. These are very special flowers because they only grow for a short period of time. You will only see their pinkish white blossoms in the first two weeks of spring.

The lotus, along with the rose, has to be the most popular type of flower tattoo you can get. The lotus flower designs all contain lots of symbolism - they are usually associated with religious themes and creation. They are a symbol of beauty on earth, as well as purity.

Lotus Tattoos

You can also have larger designs which feature several lotus flowers, often being combined with tribal stems. This can make a good design for along the side of your body, along your wrist, or the forearm. It's a very popular design for women, and there are very few lotus flower designs with a masculine feel to them.

Lotus Tattoos

Many of these designs can also have a Japanese style to them. In fact, there is a whole sub-category of Japanese lotus designs. These tattoos are often used along side Koi Fish, or perhaps include Japanese Kanji inscriptions. They also make a great focal point for a half or full sleeve tattoo. When used in this way, they are often used on the shoulder area, or the bicep - where there's plenty of room to create a detailed lotus flower.
